About Us
At Hucks For Hope, our goal is to positively impact the lives of at-risk youth. We are passionate about disc golf and have created this tournament to use the exciting sport as a way to provide brighter futures.
At-risk youth face immense challenges that can prevent them from reaching their full potential. Poverty, lack of education opportunities, and exposure to violence are just some of the major obstacles they must overcome. By introducing them to disc golf, we offer a constructive outlet to channel their energy and emotions.
Disc golf is more than just a fun game – it’s an opportunity for these young people to develop valuable life skills. Through the sport, they learn discipline, perseverance, and how to work hard to achieve goals. Playing disc golf allows them to build positive relationships with mentors and peers, fostering a sense of respect, camaraderie and community.
We believe every young person deserves a fair chance at success. Supporting our program allows donors to help at-risk youth break the cycles of poverty and hopelessness that have held them back. Together, we can create better futures for our communities and inspire lasting positive change across generations.

History
Helping at risk youth for almost 60 years
How We Got Started
The Downtown Club of Fort Collins, a Northern Colorado men’s club, is dedicated to volunteerism and service. Our club was founded in 2018 with the mission of improving the lives of at-risk and disadvantaged youth in our community.
We achieve this goal through volunteer service and financial contributions. Although our club is new, the group has a rich history dating back to 1969 when it was established as a chapter of Sertoma International in Fort Collins. Join us in our efforts to make a difference in the lives of children in need.
Our Founders
Kodiak, Matt, Nathan, and Reyes are the founders of Hucks for Hope, an annual disc golf tournament that has become a beloved fixture in the Northern Colorado community. Inspired by their shared love of the sport and a desire to give back to their community, they founded this event with a mission to support and empower at-risk youth
